My Brother, My Friend

Last week the tree trimmers came and trimmed several branches off a beautiful Maple tree near our house. The girls have enjoyed playing under that tree for the last year, and Lauren thought they were going to cut the entire tree down. She sat on the toy box and cried her eyes out while she watched. Owen had to see what all the commotion was about, so he climbed up there beside her. Lauren put her arm around him, and that seemed to make her feel better. I thought it was so cute to see them watching out the window together.
