Better late than never....?

Call me a bad mother. I'm only 3 weeks behind, but this was Lauren on her first day of school this year. It's a blurry picture and she doesn't look very excited, either. The problem? I was in a hurry to snap the photo and she had already been ready and waiting for half the day (she has afternoon Kindergarten). We went to my mom's after dropping Emily off that morning, but it didn't seem to make waiting any easier. When you're 5 and starting Kindergarten, a 3 hour waiting period can seem like 3 years.
