Just a little update to cover the last few days. We enjoyed a visit from Jared, Jessica and Ethan this past weekend. They came Friday and left Sunday, and the kids wore themselves out playing. Ethan and Owen are about 7 months apart, so they hit it off pretty good. Unfortunately, I didn't get very many pictures. I think Jessi took most of them with her camera.
Monday, Emily got invited to join her friend from school at the local Twistars gym for a free gymnastics class. Her friend is a member, and it was friend night. Emily was absolutely ecstatic to be able to participate. We didn't get very many pictures there because the kids were running around non-stop for and hour and a half and it was too dark to get good pictures. Emily had a great time, though.
Nelly is very close to crawling. I tried to take some pictures of her today just for my own memorabilia. I shared a couple of those here.
Owen is getting ready to be Superman for Halloween. Unfortunately, he doesn't know much of anything about Superman...and he's unable to say it correctly as well.....calling him "stupidman". He doesn't know what the word "stupid" means, either, because we try to keep the kids from saying that too much. It's just a mis-pronunciation, but pretty funny. If you ask him what he's going to be for Halloween he proudly proclaims that he's going to be "Stupidman!"
Lauren is loving school and has made several new friends this year. She's disappointed that there is no school this Thursday and Friday. Mom, on the other hand, is happy to have a day or two without the morning rush and craziness!
Here are the pics!
